Plenty of comic book titles have put a dark or twisted spin on the usual trappings of childhood. Others put kids at the center of sprawling, supernatural stories. Few manage to blend the two together as seamlessly as Image Comics' Kill Your Darlings. In fact, Kill Your Darlings might just be the latest prime example of merging innocent fantasy with grim horror. It isn't just that the terror is all too real. The entire plot proves equally gripping as it weaves a fine line between reality and fantasy.
