The late Kentaro Miura helped redefine seinen manga with his legendary series Berserk. This franchise combines many storytelling elements, themes, and tropes into a multi-layered package that's immensely rewarding to read, including the fact that it elegantly blends many genres. Berserk is primarily a dark fantasy story of kings, monsters, and swords, but it also has strong romance elements and certainly some horror elements as well.
