The Batman movies and animated shows are some of my favorite media I've ever consumed. I grew up watching Batman Beyond on live TV and have watched Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy almost every year since it concluded in 2012. So it definitely feels like news I should share whenever I see a Batman movie sale happening anywhere.
With the release of the new Penguin TV series on Max next week, Amazon is currently dropping prices on some of the best Batman movies and series of all time. The Batman for example, which we gave a 10 out of 10 back in 2022, is now at its lowest price of the year. If you're looking to own some Batman content in 2024, this sale is a great time to save.

Is Now a Good Time to Buy Blu-ray Sets?
Blu-ray sets go on sale pretty regularly, so it may be hard to discern when the best time to buy them actually is. But if you're wondering if these Batman movie deals specifically are worth buying before any of the big upcoming sale events, the answer is yes. These are some of the lowest prices we've ever seen on some of these 4K UHD and Blu-ray sets. The Batman Beyond collection is currently at its lowest price of all time on Amazon, matching what it was last Black Friday season. We also mentioned above that The Batman is at its lowest price of this year so far. While some of these Blu-ray sets may be cheaper during Black Friday 2024, it likely won't be more than $5 difference overall.
Tips for Buying Blu-rays on Amazon
All of the Blu-ray films we've featured in this article are safe to buy, but there are a few things to keep in mind with Amazon Blu-rays in general. Make sure to check who is selling and shipping the movie before you buy. In this case it's Amazon direct, but sometimes it's a third-party seller. You also want to make sure that you have a Blu-ray player that can play the discs, so you'll need to check if they are region-locked before you buy.
