Kevin Conroy's final posthumous performance as Batman in Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part 3 has been met with an outpouring of love and touching tributes from fans.

The late actor voiced the Caped Crusader for the last time in a scene that saw him face off against Mark Hamill's Joker. After a rooftop fight between the two foes, Conroy delivers his final words as Batman, declaring: "I care, Joker… about Gotham… about justice. And if it has to end, at least I go out like this, being Batman."

Shortly after the clip surfaced on social media, fans reacted by paying homage to Conroy, with many referring to him as the "definitive Batman." Those on X/Twitter noted that the scene gave the beloved actor a "perfect send-off" and a fitting closure to his time as Batman, which people looked back on with fond memories.

Conroy and Hamill started voicing Batman and Joker when Batman: The Animated Series debuted in 1992, reprising the voice roles several times throughout the years. Conroy passed away in 2022 at the age of 66. He has since appeared posthumously in Rocksteady's superhero game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part 3 adapts Marv Wolfman and George Pérez's comic book series of the same name, bringing a close to the trilogy that marks the end of the Tomorrowverse story arc. Part 3 arrived on digital platforms on July 16 and will come out on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on July 23 for physical media fans.
