After two fun episodes featuring Spock and T'Pring hijinks and a crossover with Lower Decks, Strange New Worlds gets serious. "Under the Cloak of War" features flashbacks to the Klingon War and the series' present-day. Doctor M'Benga kills a Klingon general in cold blood, a controversial choice for Star Trek, but not without precedent. This episode hearkens back to a tradition established in The Original Series.
