Since at least 2018, there's been talk of rebooting one of the most iconic cult-classic shows of the modern generation: Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Beloved by fans of numerous ages, Buffy received its own TV renaissance on streaming. This gave audiences of a new generation the motivation and the means to binge Buffy to their heart's content. Along with a new wave of eager fans, however, comes the inevitable dogpile of corporate moguls looking to scrape a fresh set of dollars from a trendy revival.
