The Marvel Cinematic Universe is no longer the unstoppable pop culture juggernaut it once was. Yet, for all the highs and lows of Phases 4 and 5, Disney+'s Loki remains one of the franchise's best post-Endgame outings. Part of this was always guaranteed, given how effortlessly Tom Hiddleston transformed the Thor adversary into a fan-favorite anti-hero over the years. But Loki surprised everyone with its colorful band of supporting characters, detailed Brazill-meets-Rick and Morty temporal bureaucracy setting, and another strong character arc for Loki himself as he uncovered the Time Variance Authority's true purpose.
