DC Comics' Justice Society was the first superhero team in comics and it has been reinvented plenty of times over the years. One of its most compelling iterations is a group of older heroes who are training the next generation. That's become the JSA's mission statement again, as they now have an entire time-displaced class of students to train. It's an interesting development that could potentially add a lot to DC Comics.
