The murder in A Murder at the End of the World doesn't occur until the end of the first 70-minute episode, and the seven-episode series takes a similarly slow-moving approach to telling its overall story, with most episodes running over an hour. There are times when the central murder mystery seems to be spinning its wheels. Still, creators Zal Batmanglij and Brit Marling offer enough related intrigue to keep the audience interested, even through the slower-moving early episodes.
