Many fans are excited about how the DC Universe will unfold on the big and small screen. Seemingly meant to directly avoid the issues that plagued the DC Extended Universe before it, this shared universe is starting fresh with more traditional takes on its heroes. Unfortunately, the level to which it's erasing past productions isn't quite as straightforward as it should be.
