Attempts to adapt the post-apocalyptic RPG video game series Fallout to the big screen started in 1998, shortly after the first installment was released, with another serious push at a movie in 2009. It's taken over a quarter of a century, and the screen is smaller, but a live-action Fallout adaptation will finally arrive in April 2024 as a television series on the Prime Video streaming service.
