It's not a surprise that the RTX 4080 SUPER is so popular. At MSRP, it's $200 less expensive than the RTX 4080 it replaces while also being 5%-10% faster in performance. It still has a long way to go to compete with the $1600 RTX 4090 GPU, but this card gives you more than enough horsepower to handle any game in 4K at high framerates, even with ray tracing enabled. Check out our RTX 4080 SUPER review for benchmarks and a deeper dive into its upgrades over the RTX 4080, but sufficed to say, the main reason to get this GPU over the 4080 is the price drop. Paying higher than MSRP negates most of the advantage.
